Every month I will be documenting my income from all of my side hustles. As I am just starting out some (more like all) of these amounts will be very little or even nothing. In full future me style though I’m going to include things that I may not even be doing yet because I know that in the future these things will be bringing in an income.

Rideshare Income $0.00
Rideshare driving is truly important to my future, but that doesn’t mean that I have to do it every month. In fact that’s part of the reason I love this side hustle so much.
When I want to work I do, when I need money I do. But, if I don’t want to or don’t need the money then I never have to drive again it’s completely up to me.
Blog Income $0.00
As I’ve said before this blog is not meant to be a way of making money. It’s my journey and my spring board to grow my freelancing business. But I do have a few affiliate links here and there and will likely in the future try to find new ways to monetize.
Freelance Income $388.10
If you have any suggestions or maybe a freelance opportunity that you have please let me know by contacting me at tjphilbrook@IamTheFutureMe.com.
My goals are starting to be reached here. I FINALLY have a regular client with More Than Finances. I love writing in general (though the lack of it on the site wouldn’t show that) so getting paid to do so is amazing.
Amazon FBA Income $2565.27 Cost $1540.63
Want to learn to sell on Amazon the same way I have? Check out The Selling Family. Cliff and Jessica are awesome.
With a monthly profit of 66.5% I would say I did well. This is also the first time I broke $2,000 from Amazon and I don’t think it is likely to happen again soon.
December was an amazing month, things sold as soon as they got there. At one point I sold enough in 3 days that I made more than my 9 to 5 all month.
I can really see how Amazon can become peoples full times jobs, especially when they tell me they make the majority of their money during the holidays.
Misc. Income $106.50
Not yet discussed on the blog entirely, this is some random low income stream that will have it’s own blog post in the near future.
My ultimate goal is to get all of the side income to match or surpass mine and my wife’s current 9 to 5 incomes.
Monthly Income Needed: $3,000
Side Income Total: $3,059.87
YOY Increase: $2,900.47 or 1856% increase
This is a huge month for me. Not only did I reach my goal of replacing my monthly income I passed it. I got my first freelance client, joined a mastermind group, and took a trip to meet my niece in Ohio. December was a great month.
Amazon was by far my largest income, but with it also costing so much to run it means my goal has to be raised. I’m reinvesting everything back into Amazon so I can hopefully start drawing a pay from this business soon.
With January half over it’s funny to think about what I’ll be doing. I added a lot of inventory to Amazon already and hope to let that snowball all on it’s own from now on.
I’ve also sent out pitches to several people trying to get new clients following the guidance of Gina Horkey and her course on freelancing hopefully I will see my income from that grow.
How was your month? Did you make as much as you had anticipated? What are you going to do differently this month to make sure you become the “future me”? Commit to it now by telling us in the comments bellow.
