Every month I will be documenting my income from all of my side hustles. As I am just starting out some (more like all) of these amounts will be very little or even nothing. In full future me style though I’m going to include things that I may not even be doing yet because I know that in the future these things will be bringing in an income.
Rideshare Income $0.00
I have been a little lax with rideshare lately. In my area we just started UberEATS, which besides allowing me to order healthy lunch options at work has also brought on a lot of extra income from driving.
I did go out Holoween weekend but the payment didn’t post until early November so will be on next months report.
I’ve been focusing my attention on this site, gaining freelance clients, and Amazon so my time is really spread thin. I hope to drive more in the coming months as this is the busy season for it and I can make really easy quick money.
Blog Income $0.00
I had two months with some sort of blog income and that was amazing, however it’s not common for to get income being as new and small as this site is.
With one of my main focuses being on this site, I really intend on getting more income from here, such as the adds I’ve added to the site. I do get a few pennies everyday from that but until it reaches $50 dollars it won’t pay it out to me so I have a long way to go before I get any real income from that.
I plan on signing up for a few more affiliates in the months to come but we’ll see.
Freelance Income $0.00
Though the numbers don’t show it, I actually did really well in October for freelance. Up until now I had one client and loved it, however that client no longer required help and so I had none.
I’m happy to report that as of writing this I now have 2 clients that both pay, in my opinion, well for someone just starting out like myself.
I look forward to reporting on this more in the future.
If you have any suggestions or maybe a freelance opportunity that you have please let me know by contacting me at email@example.com.
Amazon FBA Income $1827.34 Cost $849.10
My favorite income stream. I don’t have to deal with passengers messing my car up, nerve recking phone calls and emails with clients. I just buy and then send in and forget about it, it is wonderful.
As you’ll see next month Amazon has slowed down for me. Not because Amazon itself isn’t selling things but because my money had to be used elsewhere. So I’m currently low on inventory and money to purchase new inventory.
This will free up some time allowing me to drive more, work on getting freelance clients, as well as work more at my 9 to 5 all of which will give me more money in the future that I can put towards Amazon.
Misc. Income $88.50
Random income stream that I haven’t discussed openly on the blog yet.
My ultimate goal is to get all of the side income to match or surpass mine and my wife’s current 9 to 5 incomes.
Monthly Income Needed: $3,000
Side Income Total: $1915.84
Even with only getting income from 2 places I still reached 63.8% to goal. Not too bad really. It was a long month and I had a ton of things going on, some weeks I felt like I never slept. $1915.84 might seem like a lot to some people, and may seem like next to nothing compared to other people. But, to me it’s amazing.
If you check out my first income reports, you’ll see I was doing only a few hundred dollars a month. In a few months I’ll be able to start comparing year to year and we’ll see the growth I’ve made. December of last year (my first income report) was not even $200, I expect to do close to $2000 this year.
November will be busy, as mentioned I have 2 new clients that will take up a bit of time especially at the beginning of the month.
I have a few personal things that will take up a ton of time as well near the start and end of the month. On top of that we are now in the busiest time of year for Amazon so I will be spending significant amounts of time on shopping and sending in things for that.
Also the first week in December I’ll be going to Ohio for some family that I haven’t seen in a while and just had their first child. This is exciting and I know I will have to work well there, however my goal is to have as much work as possible done before we go so that I can focus on family and not work.
