Every month I will be documenting my income from all of my side hustles. As I am just starting out some (more like all) of these amounts will be very little or even nothing. In full future me style though I’m going to include things that I may not even be doing yet because I know that in the future these things will be bringing in an income.

Rideshare Income $0.00
Another month gone by another 0 in this category. I have a feeling it will have some income in July for sure maybe sooner but we’ll see.
Why July? Well you’ll have to check back next week for a special announcement.
Blog Income $0.00
In March I had a sponsored post, and it paid me almost nothing. I don’t think I’ll be doing another one anytime soon. I didn’t really like dealing with the post, getting it up, making sure the formatting was good. And above all that I just felt wrong with it up there.
I could have produced content that would be better for you guys, and not made me feel as bad.
I may take another sponsored post in the future, but truthfully it is very unlikely. The “blog income” of the future will be things like affiliate income or income from the few adds I have on the site.
Freelance Income $193.90
So last month I said that this would be a big income for me in April and well I was wrong. Funny how things work out.
I had my regular client and regular articles and that was it. I still did a lot of other work but the payments didn’t actually come in so we’ll have to wait till Mays income report for truly exciting numbers.
If you have any suggestions or maybe a freelance opportunity that you have please let me know by contacting me at tjphilbrook@IamTheFutureMe.com.
Amazon FBA Income $294.70 Cost $374.32
Another bad month for Amazon. I had a family emergency right at the beginning of the month that set me back on sending inventory in. I actually had a good sales month for April just none of that money will come to me until May.
A poor excuse but an excuse none the less. This is still a great income stream and one I’m excited to grow but like everything I will have bad months.
Want to learn to sell on Amazon the same way I have? Check out The Selling Family. Cliff and Jessica are awesome.
Misc. Income $148.26
A portion of this is a payment from Ebates that I use while sourcing online for Amazon. The rest will be discussed in the future.
My ultimate goal is to get all of the side income to match or surpass mine and my wife’s current 9 to 5 income.
Monthly Income Needed: $3,000
Side Income Total: $636.86
YOY Increase: $243.39 or 61.8%
So this is less then desirable. Not that making money is bad in anyway but this amount is just sad to me. If I look at the year over year difference it’s good. But I want to be at the end so bad where I’m consistently doing December numbers. That will take hard work growing my freelancing business, Amazon business, and more eyes on my work.
It’s work I’m willing, able, and need to do.
May is going to be a very exciting month. I’ve revamped my schedule and will be sending out a weekly newsletter again (already sent this weeks). I also have some client work coming up that will not only pay bills but excites me to get done.
Amazon is already off to a good start so I need to make sure I don’t lose that momentum.
Above all of that there is an exciting announcement coming to the blog next week (my newsletter got it this morning). Though I haven’t made this announcement on the blog yet, if you follow me on social media you may have already seen it.
So May will be a full month, but I wouldn’t have it any other way.
