So here are a few of the books I’ve read recently, in no particular order other than the ones that readily come to mind.
The Count Of Monte Cristo
I have loved The Count Of Monte Cristo my whole life. I have watched every single movie ever made by the name and enjoyed every single one. A few months ago the original book became available on sale on Audible and I couldn’t resist. The book is about 52 hours long (the longest book I’ve listened to to date) and much of it in old English. But, I am enjoying it very much. I haven’t got to the end only about half way through but it’s very…well old. The plot takes FOREVER to move along, and some character I feel develop entirely for them to be killed by the end of the chapter.
Regardless it’s been a life goal to read this book and given another week or so I shall accomplish it.
Alcatraz Versus The Evil Librarians
I have become something of a Brandon Sanderson addict, I started with The Stormlight chronicles, then Mistborn, and now anything and everything I can get. The Alcatraz series is really written for kids, but that doesn’t mean I can’t enjoy it. Most of Sanderson’s books are 10, 20, or 40+ hours on audible (my new way of judging the length of books). However, the Alcatraz series are only about 6 to 8 hours long each making them nice little books to enjoy.
Erin wrote an amazing book all about millennials getting their financial life together #GYFLT. Something I wish I had started doing at a much younger age. If you follow just a small portion of her book your life will be changed. I won’t go in depth about this book because I already have here, check it out.
MONEY Master The Game
Tony Robbins is a hero to many. A business man,a motivational speaker, someone who really does change lives. This book is no different, though a bit long it is very interesting. He interviews several successful people and finds out the way’s they manage their money and how you should too. Not a short read just to warn you.
Level Up Your Life
So I need to get in shape, this has been talked about, and talked about, and talked about. But Steve Kamb is a nerd AKA a man after my own heart who has got in shape. Not only that he lives the life he wants to live.
This book doesn’t really touch on getting in shape, diets, exercises, etc. but instead talks about how to make the life you’re living the life you want to live.
Another fantasy book I read, or rather books, was the divergent series. Already popular before the movies came out they were made even more popular after. Though I read the book then watched the movies and was very disappointed they are awesome books you need to read. Fair warning I’m still recovering emotionally from the end.
What are you reading?
What have you recently read? Or what will you be reading? What are some books I should read for business, or pleasure?
