Every month I will be documenting my income from all of my side hustles. As I am just starting out some (more like all) of these amounts will be very little or even nothing. In full future me style though I’m going to include things that I may not even be doing yet because I know that in the future these things will be bringing in an income.
Rideshare Income $105.92
This income stream feels the most like a job to me and so it is difficult to find the motivation to do it. Because of that I have slowed down over the last year since other side hustles are making more money and feel like less work.
However, it’s important to me that I don’t have $0.00 on anything so I go out still and so I did make some money this month.
No crazy stories that I recall, had one really good night and then a few other slow nights where I made maybe $10 but all and all wasn’t bad and only spent a few hours driving.
Blog Income $10.00
This was a nice surprise, I got notice from one of my affiliates that I had made a sale. Hadn’t even been doing anything on the site for a while so it was kind of cool to have made this money.
That being said I’m hoping this income grows in the coming months as I spend more and more time monetizing this site. Not only that but writing for this site and helping it grow. As it grows the money will come.
Freelance Income $0.00
I pitched a few people in September but no bites, I’m hoping with the help of FinCon I’ll be able to get some new clients.
If you have any suggestions or maybe a freelance opportunity that you have please let me know by contacting me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Amazon FBA Income $751.54 Cost $803.05
The start of the month was rough for Amazon for me, and as you can say I reinvested all of the income to purchase more product. What’s cool about this income is that because I spend the profits that means that next month’s income will be larger.
Misc. Income $168.5
Random income stream that I haven’t discussed openly on the blog yet.
My ultimate goal is to get all of the side income to match or surpass mine and my wife’s current 9 to 5 incomes.
Monthly Income Needed: $3,000
Side Income Total: $1035.96
34% complete this month, nothing to write home about, but taking into consideration that I was in another state for 10 days out of the month that’s really not that bad.
I have a lot of work to do to get to the point that I can replace my income but I know with hard work I’ll get there.
I plan on working harder, whether that’s on Amazon, Freelancing, or this Blog. Especially this blog.
The other side-hustles though depend on my effort, this blog especially will only grow if I put work into it. Amazon will still make money if I don’t work hard sending them merchandise, others will get the freelance clients I don’t, but this blog no one but me can make grow.
How was your month? Did you make as much as you had anticipated? What are you going to do differently this month to make sure you become the “future me”? Commit to it now by telling us in the comments bellow.
